A Little about Howie's Site
Howie's Site is a blog generated by the friends and colleagues of longtime San Diego area soccer coach Howie Hawver. In November 2008, Howie was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). It is a tough disease, and treatment is expensive. Here we will post updates, and ways you can help Howie.

ReplyDeleteI will be working with NCSP and Dave to make this a great event for Howie and the kids in our community. I'd like to add that NCSP contacted me to do this event. They selflessly donated the park without having to be asked. We were truly touched by the outreach of those in our town. Thanks again NCSP!
We will be looking for items we could use to raffle, donations for a snack bar, donations of time from top soccer athletes in our State, or any other company that would donate services "Kettle Korn, Smoothies, Jumps, Climbing walls, Dunk Booth" We would also love to have a DJ come out to help add some fun to the event. These are just some of the ideas being looked into for this event. Feel free to contact us!
